How We Fixed The Problem
Aasiya requested us to refurbish , we supplied and added foams onto the original seats, puffed all the arms and inner backs, replaced all the lining under couches, we used the existing fabric onto the suite, very happy client
Before
The original seats had lost their comfort, the arms and inner backs needed extra support, and the lining under the couches was worn out. The existing fabric remained in place but required careful handling to restore the suite’s original charm.
After
We supplied and added fresh foam to the seats, giving them a plush and supportive feel. The arms and inner backs were carefully puffed for extra comfort. All the worn-out lining under the couches was replaced, ensuring a clean and polished look. Using the original fabric, we skilfully restored the suite, maintaining its character while enhancing durability. Aasiya was delighted with the transformation!
CUSTOMER
Following a recent house fire, a couch sustained significant burn and smoke damage. While the structure remains mostly intact, the upholstery has been badly affected.
We’re looking to have it fully restored and would like to request an assessment from Dhasis Upholstery to determine the feasibility of repair and reupholstery. The goal is to bring the piece back to a presentable and functional condition.

How We Fixed The Problem
At Dhasis Upholstery, we carefully assessed the damaged couch and found that, despite the visible burn marks and deep smoke penetration, the frame could be salvaged. Our team stripped the damaged upholstery, treated the frame for any lingering smoke odor, and reinforced the internal structure where needed.
We then reupholstered the couch with high-quality, fire-resistant fabric selected to closely match the original design. The transformation not only restored functionality but renewed the couch’s presence in the home—giving it a second life.

Before
The upholstery was completely torn and charred, with the cushioning exposed and heavily deteriorated. The foam had melted and blackened in several areas, and the entire surface was covered in soot and ash. The damage was so severe it appeared beyond repair.
After
Through skilled craftsmanship and care, Dhasis Upholstery brought the couch back to life and beyond. Fully rebuilt and reupholstered with high-quality, fire-resistant fabric, the couch now boasts a modern, seamless design with clean stitching and reinforced structure. The seating is spacious, smooth, and comfortable, transforming what was nearly lost into a statement of renewal and quality.
